All six figures are drawn from the U.S. Geological Survey’s Mineral Commodity Summaries 2026, first posted February 6, 2026 and revised May 27, 2026. The report is the U.S. Geological Survey’s annual overview of mineral production, trade, consumption, and related trends, with the figures above reporting 2025 data.
Values are shown as published by the USGS. “Apparent consumption” is the USGS measure of production plus imports minus exports, using the report’s stated definition. The global diamond total is a rounded USGS estimate.
